Obituary of Alice Mae Ellsworth

Alice Mae Ellsworth of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died on December 14, 2018 in Schervier Pavilion in Warwick, N.Y. She was 82.

The daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Wilday Bennett, she was born on April 8, 1936 in Wesley, N.Y.

She was the widow of Francis E. Ellsworth.

Survivors include her children Francis Ellsworth Jr. and his wife LouAnn of Silver Creek, GA.; Nancy Ann Schneider and her husband Jerome of Tampa, FL.; Tracey Meyer and her husband Phillip of Portland, Maine; Alice Mae Pierre and her husband Jefferson of Warwick, N.Y.; Mark Ellsworth and his wife Carol of Pine Island, N.Y. Her sister Nan Roesch and her husband Paul of Glens Falls, N.Y. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday December 18, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, N.Y.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in East Schodack, N.Y.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenwood Lake Fire Department or the Greenwood Lake Elk's Club.
