Emma S. Ortega of Middletown, a garment worker in New York City, passed away on November 8, 2018 in Westchester Medical Center. She was 98. The daughter of the late Domingo and Maria Galetti Morales, she was born on February 28, 1920 in Yauco, Puerto Rico. She was the widow of Serafin Ortega. Survivors include her children Serafin Ortega Jr. and his wife Paula of Staten Island, N.Y. and Maria Ortega of Middletown. Her grandchildren Jenna; Adam and Eric and her great-grandson Eddie Jr. She is also survived by her sister Melita and her brother Gilbert. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery Town of Wallkill, N.Y.
