Obituary of Donald Edward Busse

Donald Edward Busse, a former resident of Middletown, N.Y. and Ballston Spa, N.Y., died on Friday August 17, 2018 at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida.  He was 56.

The son of the late Theodore and Rita Busse, Donald was born on February 3, 1962 in Middletown, New York.

Donald married his beloved wife Diane on July 31, 1983 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Middletown, N.Y.

Donald is survived by his wife of thirty-five years Diane Busse.  His daughter Lauren Murphy and her husband Duncan of Winter Haven, Fl. and grandson Nolan Murphy of Winter Haven, FL.  He is also survived by his brothers Thomas Busse and his wife Lynn of Middletown and James Busse and his wife Patricia of Hendersonville, N.C.  His brothers-in-law Carl Day and his wife Mary of Prescott, AZ; Bruce Day and his wife Della of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. and Gary Day and his wife Lynann of Middletown, N.Y. and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donald was predeceased by his sister Andrea Farkus of Middletown.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 15, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
