Roberta Cockburn of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on May 29, 2018 at her home. She was 75. The daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Toohey Ryan, she was born on October 17, 1942 in Bronx, N.Y. She was the widow of William Cockburn. Survivors include her children: Chris Cockburn and his wife Stephanie of Goshen, N.Y. ; Jeanne Garrison of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. and Kevin Reilly of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Her sister Jeane Olsen of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Her seven grandchildren: Kayleigh, Andrew, Heather, Lia, Madison, Aesun and Aine as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday May 31, 2018 from 4-8 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 1, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Lake Cemetery Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project; St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Inn at St. Christopher's in Garrison, N.Y.
