Louis Armando Cintron of Pine Bush, New York, retired from the National Guard at Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh, N.Y., died on December 6, 2017 at his home. He was 79. The son of the late Luis and Rosa Acosta Cintron, he was born on June 18, 1938 in Puerto Rico. He served in the U.S. Army, as well as the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Transformation Church in Middletown. Survivors include his wife Angela Cintron at home. His children Suzanne Acevedo of Pine Bush, N.Y. and Louis A. Cintron III and his wife Evelyn of Circleville, N.Y. His grandchildren Stephen L. Cintron, Amanda L. Cintron and Sarah L. Cintron. His great-grandson Joseph A. Niosi. His brothers John Anthony Cintron and John Anibal Cintron and his nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Friday December 8, 2017 from 4-6 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 7 P.M. at the Transformation Church 160 Blumel Road Middletown, N.Y. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 11 A.M. in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, N.Y.
