Obituary of Arthur Barry Molner

Arthur Barry Molner passed away bravely on July 3, 2014, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, NY. Barry was born in Passaic, NJ on April 6, 1949 and grew up in Rutherford. He attended St. Mary's Grammar School and Rutherford High School. He became a master craftsman in the residential and commercial construction industry under the guidance of his father. He was the proprietor of several home improvement ventures and had partnered in an Off-Road vehicle tuning company in NJ and FL. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a local favorite in his younger days as an Acappella singer. He also loved major league sports and model building. Barry had served for several years with the Rutherford Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Son of the American Legion Post 289 in West Milford, NJ and was a past adjutant. Barry was predeceased by his father Arthur John Molner and is survived by his mother Maryanne Molner of Lakewood, NJ; his daughter Lisa Gulino and grandson Joey Gulino of Limerick, PA, his four brothers Robert Molner and his wife Barbara of Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ; James Molner and his wife Karen of Lake Waulenpaupack, PA; Richard Molner and his wife Robin of Peckville, PA; and Donald Molner and his wife Gisela of Trier, Germany; his two sisters, Marianne Jones and her husband George of Vernon, NJ and Caryn Kehrly of Milford, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends, especially his beloved dog, Tess. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday 26 July at Holy Rosary Church, 41 Windermere Ave, Greenwood Lake, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at http://hospiceoforange.com.
