Russell E. "Rocky" Lazier Sr., a longtime resident of Otisville and a former Diesel Mechanic and lifelong resident of the area, died on June 7, 2016 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 72.
The son of the late Harry and Addie Bedford Lazier, he was born on January 4, 1944 in Goshen, New York.
Survivors include his wife Aukse Lazier at home. His children: Russell E. Lazier Jr.; Russell C. Lazier; Lisa Lazier; Cindy Lazier Geel and Cookie Parr. His step-children: Lisa Pesola; Gail Eggelton Ippolito and Heath J. Eggelton. His sister Addie Henderson and his grandchildren and two great-granddaughters and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and his sister Harry "Junie"; Violet; and Silas "Punky" and his best friend Ben "Fat Boy" Wright.
Visitation hours will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
