Eleanor E. Muller of Middletown, a retired legal secretary for the Law Office of Henry W. Korade in Middletown, died on April 23, 2016 in Middletown Park Manor. She was 97. The daughter of the late Preston and Amy Abplanalp Theiss, she was born on April 14, 1919 in Fosterdale, N.Y. She was a graduate of Monticello High School and from the Ramsdell Business School formerly located in Middletown, N.Y. She was a lifelong member of the Fosterdale United Methodist Church. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Bob and Norma Eck and Jim Breach for their attention and care over the years. She was the widow of Walter Muller who preceded her in death on June 10, 1998. Survivors include her daughter Ann E. Muller of Middletown. Her nephew Paul M. Gerhardt and his wife Karen of Edwards, CO. and her brother-in-law Millard P. Gerhardt of Binghamton, N.Y. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister Dorothy L. Gerhardt of Binghamton and her nephew Douglas P. Gerhardt of St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 at 1 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow in Fosterdale Cemetery in Fosterdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fosterdale United Methodist Church.
