Obituary of David McGinnis

David McGinnis of Mt. Holly, N.J. and a former longtime resident of Chester, N.Y. died on March 21, 2016. He was 73. The son of the late Arthur and Catherine Simpson McGinnis, he was born on April 21, 1942 in Warwick, New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Survivors include his children Lori; Daniel; Richard; Michael and Kathy. He is also survived by several grandchildren and his five sisters Mabel; Ella; Mary; Catherine and Janet and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son David Jr. and his brothers Arthur; Pierson and Richard as well as his sisters Lena; Margaret and Anna. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon at the Lippincott Funeral Home, Inc. 92 Main St. Chester, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, N.Y.
