Obituary of Ida Mae Stitt

Ida Mae Stitt Walden, New York September 27, 1938-December 26, 2013 Ida passed away on Dec.26th at ORMC Middletown after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family. She was 75. The daughter of the late Paul & Catherine Miller Baggatta, she was born Sept.27,1938 in Middletown NY. Ida was a retired head waitress at Holiday Inn, Middletown, but she took great passion and had a wonderful talent for floral design and decorating. She is survived by her husband at home James H. Stitt, her four daughters: Debra Hay Hunter & her husband Michael of Godeffroy, NY, Ida Hay Santiago and her husband Dixon of Godeffroy, NY, Pauline Baggatta Stewart and her husband Alex of Middletown, NY and Catherine Baggatta Croci. She is also survived by her brothers Lonnie Baggatta of TN and Michael Baggatta of Liberty NY ,her sisters Shirley White of SC and Jackie Babcock of TN, her sister-in-laws: Dorothy Brown and her daughter Sharon Warren; Sharon Hood; her brother-in-law: Russell Stitt; as well as14 grandchildren,39 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William Hay Jr., her sister : Rose Morace and her brothers Paul and John Baggatta. Visitation will be held from 1-4 PM on Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown. Funeral Services will be held during the visitation at 2 PM on Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
