Obituary of Phyllis Lenz

Phyllis A. Lenz Gardiner, New York Phyllis A. Lenz of Gardiner, a former employee of Sterling Forest and a longtime resident of the area, died on July 25, 2013 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 88. The daughter of the late John and Lily Finnerty Weaver, she was born on May 26, 1925 in West Milford, N.J. She was the widow of Raymond Lenz. Survivors include her children Karen Brennan Klepeis and her husband Conrad of Haskell, N.J.; Heather Lenz Petrollese and her husband Steven of Gardiner; and Scott W. Lenz and his Fiancee Lisa Montaperto of Wurtsboro. Her sister Ruth Gola and her husband Edward of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday July 27, 2013 from 2-5 P.M.at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 29, 2013 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
