Obituary of Geraldine McCarthy

Geraldine A. McCarthy a former longtime resident of Middletown and a former School Lunch Aide at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School in Middletown, died on June 13, 2014 in Mass. She was 88. The daughter of the late Peter and Mary Kelly Reilly, she was born on February 13, 1926 in Bronx, New York. She was the widow of the late William F. McCarthy. Survivors include her children Kevin McCarthy of Golden, Colorado; Robert McCarthy and his wife Jennifer of El Dorado Hills, California and Geraldine McCormack and her husband Edward of Braintree, Mass. Her grandchildren : Paul Banagas; Meghan McCarthy; Daniel McCarthy; Molly McCarthy; and Kevin, Brittney and Lindsey McCormack. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son William P. McCarthy. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2014 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, New York A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 19, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Middletown. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn.
