Obituary of Ella Louise Newell Stabler

Ella Louise Newell Stabler of Middletown, retired employee of St. Teresa's Nursing Home in Middletown, and a lifelong resident of the area, died on June 12, 2013. She was 92. The daughter of the late Charles and Eva Courter Lattimer, she was born on August 13, 1920 in Goshen, N.Y. She was the widow of Frank Newell and D. Cain Stabler. She was an active member of the Ridgebury Methodist Church for many years. Survivors include her daughter-in-law Jackie Newell of Bloomingburg; her step-son Wilfred Stabler and his wife Karen of Middletown. Her grandchildren Jody Muldoon of Phillipsport ; Laurie Karp of Middletown and Beth Stabler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Charles Newell; her daughter Jane and her brothers: Alton, Everett and Howard. Visitation hours will be held on Monday June 17, 2013 from 9-10 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery Middletown, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
