Obituary of Anna A. Palefsky

Anna A. Palefsky of Greenwood Lake, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on June 11, 2013 in St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 82. The daughter of the late Joseph and Louisa Romano, she was born on February 26, 1931 in New York, N.Y. She was the widow of Patrick Allen and Bernard Palefsky. Survivors include her two children Victoria Allen of N.Y., N.Y. and Laura Jennings and her husband Charles of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Her grandchildren: Danny Hauser; Jason Jennings; Simone Lenin and Chuck Jennings. Her great-grandchildren: Jason Jr.; Brandon and Evan. Her sister Dolly Pugliese and her husband John of Long Island, N.Y. She was predeceased by her three brothers. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday June 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Services will be held during the visitation hours on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
