Obituary of Donald O.R. Schiemann

Donald O.R. Schiemann of Greenwood Lake, a retired Photo Engraver with Sterling Regal in New York City and a lifelong resident of the area, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 8, 2014 in Warwick. He was 81. The son of the late Otto and Anna Jetter Schiemann, he was born on June 24, 1932 in Warwick, New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Greenwood Lake. He was a 55 year member of the Warwick Masonic Lodge #544. Survivors include his wife Karin Schiemann at home. His daughters Krista O'Bryant and her husband Okey of Athens, Michigan and Sonia Evangelista and her husband Dominick of Chester, N.Y. His grandchildren William O'Bryant; Gabriella Evangelista and Anthony Evangelista. He is also survived by three cousins in Germany and several nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 16, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church 25 Waterstone Road Greenwood Lake, New York. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
