Obituary of Iluminada Marrero

Iluminada Marrero, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, passed away Friday January 18, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 82. The daughter of the late Domingo and Maria Cuevas Martinez, she was born on April 12, 1930 in Mayaquez, Puerto Rico. She was a member of the Rock of Refuge Church. Iluminada is survived by her husband of 59 years: Rafael Marrero at home; her 7 children: Marilyn Cartagena (William) of Monroe, NY; Rafael Marrero (Migda) of Pine Bush; Sara Jane Marrero (Jose L. Morales) of Belleville, NJ; David Marrero (Maryann) of Middletown; Samuel Marrero (Norka) of Newburgh, NY; Almiria Marrero (Jose Perdomo) of Puerto Rico; Marcos Marrero of Middletown; She is further survived by her sister: Petra Martinez; her brother: Radames Martinez, both of Puerto Rico; her grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 20, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 21, 2013 at 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
