Obituary of Matthew John Mikulski

Matthew John Mikulski, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away Monday May 19, 2014. He was 27. The son of Steven and Debra Jewis Mikulski, he was born May 26, 1986 in Middletown, New York. He attended Minisink Valley School Distict. Matthew is survived by his parent: Steven and Debra Mikulski at home; his sister: Sally Schwarze and her husband Jay of SC; his brother: Michael Mikulski of Slate Hill; Stacey Mikulski of TN; Jessica Mikulski of New Hampton; his nephews: Austin Collard; Blane Mikulski; Hudson Schwarze; his niece: Emma Schwarze; his very best friend that he loved to record music together with in his studio: Mike McGinn of Middletown; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother: Steven Mikulski Jr; his paternal grandparents: Walter F. and Doris M. Mikulski and his maternal grandmother: Evelyn A. Godfrey. A family statement reads, "Matthew loved to sing and loved music, he enjoyed being with his friends and his family and his cat Coey." Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday May 22, 2014 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Habrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Friday May 23, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, NY.
