Warner Koenig Otisville, NY Warner "Ken" Koenig, 82, of Otisville, New York, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife, daughter and God Parents, Arthur and Susan Barton. Warner was born in New York City on June 11, 1933 to Rosa and Joseph Koenig who emigrated from Germany in 1931. He entered the United States Airforce at the age of 14 and was a Radar Instructor at the age of 15. He was stationed at Mather Airforce Base in Sacramento, CA where he met his first wife, Margaret Clariece Shanks. He stepped in as a father figure to her two boys, Bobby and Gilbert. They moved to San Jose, CA where they had two daughters, Rosanna and Christl.A few years later they moved to New York and had a son, Ken. After 20 years of marriage they divorced and he met his second wife, Carol "Kitten" Clark. They have been happily married since 1981 living in NYC and Otisville, NY. Warner inherited his fathers' business in NYC, Red Ball Window Cleaning. He and his wife ran the business until they retired in 2012 and moved permanently to Otisville, NY. Warner built the "Round House",as the neighbors call it, on Robbins Road himself with the help of friends. It took him 20 years to complete. It was considered the house of the future. He enjoyed reading, motorcycling, gardening, music of all types and loved the ocean. He and his wife Kitten traveled Europe and the United States by motorcycle. He loved his two pets or as he called them his children, October and April, who preceded his death and will greet him in heaven. He is survived by his two daughters, Christl McKenney of San Diego, CA, Rosanna Malone of Richmond, WA and son, Ken Koenig of Sacramento, CA. He also leaves behind his wife Carol "Kitten" Clark-Koenig, his eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He will forever be missed. A Memorial Service will be held from 10-11 AM on Saturday February 6, 2016 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY.
