Obituary of Jean Stukey

Jean Stukey of Goshen, a former longtime resident of Lincoln Avenue, and currently of Glen Arden, died on January 6, 2016 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 94. The daughter of the late Robert and Cornelia Johnson, she was born on June 14, 1921 in Goshen, N.Y. She was retired after twenty seven years from the Orange County Social Services. She was the widow of Frederick Stukey. Survivors include her nieces and nephews including Gary Stukey and his wife Susan of Herkimer, N.Y. and Debra McGuire and her husband James of Stittville, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband and her son Frederick Stuckey and her brother Robert Johnson Jr. and her sister Marie Cain. The family would like to thank Carol Gabella and her friends at the First Presbyterian Church in Goshen. Her friends and staff at Glen Arden and ORMC 4 North and NODA volunteers and to the Rev. David Kingsley for their compassion and kindness. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday January 15, 2016 at 12 Noon at the First Presbyterian Church In Goshen. Interment will be in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Goshen 33 Park Place Goshen, New York 10924.
