Obituary of Ronald Butch Wisher

Ronald Butch Wisher entered into rest at Orange Regional Medical Center on October 29, 2015. He was 75. The son of the late George John Wisher and Anna Green Wisher, he was born on January 20, 1940 in Goshen, N.Y. He was predeceased by his daughter Georgann Cheeks. His five brothers George, Douglas, Charles, Leonard and Herbert and his five sisters Caroline Hasbrouck, Hilda Bertholf, Joan King, Evelyn Blair and Doris Wisher. Ronald was an active Horse Trainer in Goshen and Monticello, N.Y. and Freehold, New Jersey and for many years horses was his passion. Survivors include at home his longtime companion Wanda Corkey. His three brothers Carl Wisher and his wife Bonnie and Calvin Wisher and his wife Gert all of Middletown and Dennis Wisher of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. His two sisters Bernice Simpson of Mt. Vernon and Sheila Van Dunk of Middletown. His children Eddie Wisher and Vanessa Mirabal both of Middletown. His stepchildren Phyllis Corkey Hedges and her husband Doug; Mary Kean and her husband Gary; Raymond Corkey and David Corkey and he is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Visitation and Services will be held on Thursday November 5, 2015 from 2-4 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
