Obituary of Gerald Dichiara

Gerald Dichiara of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. a Supervisor Electrician for the N.Y. City Board of Education died on June 12, 2015 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y. He was 77. The son of the late Albert and Elizabeth Dichiara, he was born on December 18, 1937 in the Bronx, New York. He was a 55 year member of the IBEW Local 3 in New York, New York. Survivors include his wife Joann Dichiara at home. His children Elizabeth Sparks; Gerald Dichiara Jr. and his wife Jodie; Nicholas Dichiara and his wife Rosario and Theresa Dichiara Olsen all of Greenwood Lake. His sister Rita Drumm of Naples, Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren and several nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Dichiara. Visitation hours will be held on Monday June 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery in Warwick, N.Y.
