Obituary of Floyd M. Hood

Floyd M. Hood of Middletown, a chemistry instructor at Entergy in Buchanan, New York, died on May 29, 2015 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 53. The son of Floyd and Geraldine Hood, he was born on September 14, 1961 in Newport, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife Sharon Hood of Middletown. His father Floyd Hood of Kentucky. His son Floyd W. Hood and his wife Karen of Orlando, Florida. His stepson David Hernandez and his wife Stephanie of Middletown. His granddaughter Ana Hernandez. His sister Barbara Dunaway and her husband Stephen of Erlander, Kentucky and his brothers Frank Hood of Mt. Zion, Utah and Daniel Hood of Newport, Kentucky. He was predeceased by his mother Geraldine Hood and his first wife Cynthia. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday June 2, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. with Funeral Services at 8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
