Middletown, New York
Jerome W. Neil Jr. A retired US ARMY Staff Sergeant and life long resident of the area passed away Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 82.
The son of the late Jerome W. Neil Sr. and Beatrice Warner Neil, he was born October 15, 1932 in Middletown, New York.
Jerome served his country during the Korean and Vietnam war.
The Jerome W. Neil Park on Linden Avenue was named after him.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Harriet Mann Neil of Newburgh, NY; his 3 children: Brett Neil Sr. and his wife Karen of Rochester, NY; Ianthe Dehaney and companion Robert of Newburgh, NY and Deborah Stewart of Newburgh, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Friday April 17, 2015 at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
