Obituary of Ruth H. Depew

Ruth H. Depew Westtown, New York Ruth H. Depew, a former employee of the Slate Hill Orchards and a lifelong resident of the area, died on March 31, 2015 in Highland Rehab in Middletown. She was 90. The daughter of the late William H. and Mary Jacobs, she was born on November 7, 1924 in Johnson, New York. She was a member of the Westtown Presbyterian Church in Westtown and a former Sunday School Teacher at the Church. She loved farming on her family farm and taking care of the animals on the farm. Survivors include her husband Joseph Depew at home and her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by several stepsons and stepdaughters. She was predeceased by her brother George Jacobs and her sister Margaret Jacobs. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015 from 10-11 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery Town of Wawayanda, New York.
