Obituary of Elaine M. Teller

Elaine M Teller, predeceased by her parents, William and Janet Teller of Middletown, NY died peacefully at home on December 1, 2023. Elaine grew up in Middletown, NY and currently resided in Woodridge, NY. She retired after 25 years as a NYS Corrections Officer at Ulster Correctional Facility in Napanoch, NY. She is survived by two sisters Debbie (& Art) Bond, Marjie Teller, an aunt Peggy (& Al) Aeberli, two daughters Tab Calvitti and Dena (& Terry) Johnson, four grandchildren, Austin & Hunter Calvitti, Skyler Halloran, and Riley Johnson, and one great granddaughter Addison Calvitti. She adored her grandchildren. She loved the beach and traveling. She was an incredible baker. She was known for breeding Corgi's which she loved dearly. She had an amazing laugh with a twinkle in her eye that made everyone laugh with her. She never gave up her dream of having horses again. A private ceremony will be held at Ralston Lippincott Hasbrouck Ingrassia Funeral Home in Middletown, NY. She will be laid to rest in the Wallkill Cemetery. In lieu of donations please raise a glass and make a toast in her memory. She will be missed by many.
