Stephen Charles Jones Sr. of Middletown, N.Y. retired employee for the N.Y. State Division of Youth, passed away on March 14, 2023 in Nyack Hospital. He was 64. The Son of Nathan Jones and Bettie Morrissey, he was born on October 17, 1958 in Yonkers, N.Y. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a 46 year member of the Pocatello-Mt. Hope Fire Company where he was a past captain and currently served as Chaplain of the Company. Survivors include his wife Katherine Jones. His children Stephen Jones Jr., Kayla Armand and Nathaniel Jones. His brothers David Jones and Nate Jones. He is also survived grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 from 10 A.M.-12 Noon with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery Middletown, N.Y. A celebration of life will follow at the Washington Heights Fire Department following the burial.
