Leonard Hawkins Jr. a longtime resident of Middletown, N.Y. and a former construction worker in the area, passed away on January 29, 2023 at his home. He was 68.
Leonard was born on May 2, 1954 in Virginia.
He was a kind sweet person who loved westerns and loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He enjoyed music and enjoyed making his step-daughter laugh.
Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
Survivors include his stepdaughter Anqauna Green.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Wednesday March 8, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery 111 Craigville Road Goshen, N.Y.
