Frances Giannone (Provenzano), 97, of Middletown, N.Y. passed away on Monday January 2, 2023. Beloved wife of 55 years of the late Victor Giannone. Loving mother of Donna McClellan and her husband Mark of Westwood, MA. And Elaine Brown Morgan and her partner George (Richie) Gunther of Port Jervis, N.Y. Adored grandmother of Matthew McClellan and his wife Anna Rasmussen of Sisters, OR and Rebecca McClellan and her husband Fred Tomlin of Menlo Park, CA. She also loved her many Provenzano and Giannone nieces and nephews. She especially treasured the relationships she had with so many of them, especially with Marian, Robert, Marianne, Karen, Barbara, Geraldine and her great-nieces Debbie, Pam and Cheryl. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Provenzano of Howell, N.J. and brother-in-law Leonard Bellacicco of Highland, N.Y. She was predeceased by her parents Biaggio and Marianne Lattarro Provenzano; her brothers Frank, Salvatore, Robert and George Provenzano and her sisters: Rose Calderazzo, Jean Iannotti, Theresa Vitale and Antoinette Vitale. Fran was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived there until she and her husband moved their family to Orange County in 1968. She worked as a Culinary Arts Aide at Orange County BOCES. Fran was an incredibly strong woman who loved to spend time with family and friends. She was a gentle, caring, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Fran had a great sense of humor and loved playing cards and games with family and friends. We were all blessed to have had so many years with her and will always have fond remembrances of the many joyful occasions shared with her through the years. She will be missed dearly by all. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday January 7, 2023 from 12:00 P.M.-2:30 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
