Jerome C. Lofton of Middletown, N.Y., a former employee of Cedar Hill Cemetery in the Town of Newburgh and a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on December 10, 2022 in Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. He was 73. The son of the late Dolce Jorden, he was born on February 16, 1949 in Newburgh, N.Y. Survivors include his wife Charlayne Lofton at home. His children Dossina (Vernon) Green of Virginia; Jerome Lofton Jr. (Tracie) of North Carolina; Quatiesha Williams of Virginia; Anthony Jones (Emily) of Walden, N.Y.; Dolce Lofton; James Lofton and Joshua Lofton all of Middletown, N.Y. His brother Julio Sanchez (LaShaun) of Maryland and his sisters Linda Jackson of South Carolina; Amparo Robinson (Dwayne) of North Carolina and Irene Jones of North Carolina. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Dolce and his brother Oscar Jorden. Visitation hours and Services will be held on Saturday December 17, 2022 from 12 Noon-2 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
