Johnie L. Jontue" Harris II of Middletown, N.Y., a Security officer for Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and former employee of Office of Children and Family Services passed away Monday July 25, 2022 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 43.
The son of Johnie L. Harris I and Mildred Davis Smith, he was born on December 23, 1978 in Newburgh, N.Y.
Survivors include his mother: Mildred Smith & Stepfather: Edward Martin; his father: Johnie L. Harris I & stepmother: Vanessa Harris; His maternal grandparents: Jonathan & Dollie Mae Davis; his brothers: Barry Davis, Avan Harris, Terric Harris & Baliek Portee, his sisters: LaShelle Harris, Elysha Martin; stepsisters: Shantae Martin, Chenile West, Tawanna Williams, Lydia Ballard & Crystal Portee. Jontue is further survived by his nieces & nephews: Maya Davis, Julius Viciere, Sydney Harris, Damian Harris, Malachi Portee, Jathan Portee, Arliena Portee & Tishaunta Portee; as well as many aunts, uncles & cousins including his special uncle Ivan Harris. Jontue was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Johnie & Minnie Harris.
Visitation hours will be held from !0 AM – Noon on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at the Greater Upperroom Apostolic Faith Church 1 Linden Avenue, Middletown, NY, followed by the service at Noon at the Church. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Middletown, NY after the service.
