Karen "Susie" Kauffman, born April 11, 1940, of Middletown, NY, passed away on March 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Her funeral service will be held at Scotchtown Presbyterian Church in Middletown, NY on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11am with a luncheon to follow.
She graduated from Goshen High School and attended college at Binghamton University. Susie spent the majority of her career as a Social Worker at the Twin Towers, as well as the Middletown Psychiatric Center. Susie was an active member in her community, as a lifelong resident. She was an individual in every way, had a strong love of words and long chats.
Susie is survived by her children Christopher and Spike, their wives Cheri and Ilana, and grandchildren, Rebecca, Hawkeye, Xavier and Ilias– in addition to many close friends who were very dear to her.
