Obituary of Winifred Hoye

Winifred "Winnie" A. Hoye, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 23, 2015. She was 89. Winnie was born in Goshen and lived the majority of her life in Middletown, N.Y. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family. Winifred was predeceased in death by her husband, George C. Hoye, her parents, Joseph and Winifred Lawrence and her sister Marie Reimer. She is survived by her children: George C. (Chris) Hoye and his wife Linda of Greenville, N.Y.; Bernadette Croce and her husband Arnold of Circleville, N.Y.; Gregory Hoye of Glens Falls, N.Y. and Daniel Hoye and his wife Sara of LaGrangeville, New York. Her grandchildren: Christopher, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Desiree, Lauren, Kandace, Megan and Matthew. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Elant Adult Home in Goshen and her friends there who assisted Winnie during the past 3 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 30, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage Street Middletown, N.Y. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
