Obituary of Angela Gareri

Angela Gareri, of Silver Spring, Maryland and formerly of Hastings on Hudson and Middletown, N.Y., a homemaker, died on January 17, 2015 in Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. She was 97. The daughter of the late Eugenio and Maria Generoso, she was born on August 19, 1917 in Catanzaro, Italy. She was the widow of Domenico Gareri Survivors include her children Egidio Gareri of Slate Hill, N.Y. Aldo Gareri of Burnt Hills, N.Y. and Mario Gareri of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons Giuseppe "Pino" Gareri and Donato Gareri. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 22, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery Hartsdale, N.Y.
