Ruth C. Knospe of Middletown, N.Y., retired as a District Library Clerk for the Middletown School District and a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on February 4, 2022 at the Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Chester and Alice Gibbs Lindsay, she was born on August 25, 1931 in Mt. Prosper, N.Y.
She was the widow of Otto A. Knospe Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Ruth Daubenspeck of Middletown, N.Y.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022, from 10-11 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11 A.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be in Cemetery of the Highlands Highland Mills, N.Y.
