Melinda Bates of Middletown, N.Y. passed away on December 27, 2021 in Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown. She was 55.
The daughter of Harry and Carolyn Illenberg Elwood, she was born on June 8, 1966 in Goshen, N.Y.
Survivors include her husband Leonard Bates and her children Ashley Bates Baggatta and Michael Bates. Her mother Carolyn Elwood and her sisters Ann-Marie Elwood and Cheryl Spears. Her two grandchildren Timothy and Aria Baggatta and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours and Services will be held on Wednesday January 5, 2021 from 2-4 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
