Obituary of Jacqueline C. Grecco

Jacqueline C. Grecco September 13, 1940-April 9, 2021 Pine Bush, N.Y. Jacqueline C. Grecco of Pine Bush, NY entered into rest on Friday, April 9, 2021, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle against cancer. She was 80. She was born on September 13, 1940, in Middletown, NY, the daughter of George and Marguerite Behrent. Jackie married Daniel Grecco on November 11, 1962, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Middletown, NY, with Pastor Robert Feist officiating. She and Dan have been members of St. John's for over 50 years. She worked diligently as a paraprofessional for Pine Bush Schools for twenty-seven years and was a dedicated 4-H leader and instructor for over 50 years. She enjoyed making quilts, crafting, raising Shelties, taking care of her grandchildren, attending their games and recitals, and spending time with her husband, her family, and her friends. She especially loved her Sunday family dinners. Jackie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Daniel Grecco Sr.; her daughters Jean Marie Guido and her partner, Jeff Martini, of Bloomingburg; and Susan Sherman and her husband, Carl, of Pine Bush; her son Daniel Grecco Jr. and his wife, Dorothy, of Glen Spey; and seven grandchildren: Natalie Guido and her fiancé Alexander Green; Isabella Guido, Carlee Sherman, Amelia Sherman, Grace Martini, Keith Martini, and Alessandro Grecco Visitation will be held from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 24, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 391 Mount Hope Road, Middletown, N.Y. Please be aware that due to NYSDOH guidelines, facial coverings are required.
