Dawn E. Hirrel Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Dawn E. Hirrel, 54, Born in the Bronx NY on March 10, 1966 was granted her angel wings on March 4, 2021. She died peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her father John McCarthy, step father Richard Francis, in laws Michael and Catherine Hirrel, sister Debra Kelly and brother Dennis McCarthy. She is survived by her devoted husband John Hirrel of 35 years; mother MaryEllen McCarthy Francis; children Catherine Hirrel-Dieber and husband Frank Dieber Jr; Jonathon Hirrel and wife Valerie Hirrel; Chelsea Hirrel; and Michael Hirrel; siblings Diane McCarthy of FL, Darren McCarthy and wife Christine McCarthy of PA; Duncan McCarthy and Kristi McCarthy of greenwood lake, her 7 grand babies who adored their Mimi; Jon Jon, Autumn, Frankie, Christina, John, Rylee, and Ella. Many many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in laws. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. The Mass will be livestreamed at the following link: https://my.gather.app/remember/dawn-e-hirrel Please be aware that facial coverings must be worn at all times while at the Church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Warwick Cemetery Warwick, New York. Donations can be made in her honor to American Cancer Society.
