Obituary of Flora Ann Bertholf

Flora Ann Hasbrouck Bertholf of Middletown, a lifelong resident of Middletown, departed this life on April 17, 2017. She was 94. The daughter of the late Arthur J. Hasbrouck Sr. and Margaret Smith Hasbrouck, she was born on December 30, 1922 in Middletown. The family would like to thank the staff of the Highland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Second floor for the care they provided and Dr. Douglas Fletcher and Dr. Alexander Gapay for years of dedicated care. Survivors include her daughter Roxanne Bertholf Van Dunk of Middletown. Her granddaughter Colleen Reed and Grandsons Shawn Brown (JaVonne) and Beau Bertholf all of Middletown. Her great-grandchildren Jamie Bradshaw, Linda Bertholf ; Nevaeh Brown; Jayden Brown and Shawn Brown Jr. all of Middletown. She is also survived by her sister Zalina Sanchez of Newburgh and her foster grandson DeShawn of Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Preston R. Bertholf and her six brothers Arthur; Kenneth; George; William; Bradford and Samuel Hasbrouck and her sisters Clara Brown and Cora Price. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday April 23, 2017 from 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 24, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. John's AME Zion Church in Middletown. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery Middletown, N.Y.
