Obituary of Richard Morgan

Richard "Pop" Morgan of the Town of Wallkill, N.Y., a longtime resident of the area, passed away on November 29, 2023 in Garnet Health Medical Center. He was 95. The son of Frances May Morgan, he was born on April 19, 1928 in Rome, New York. He was a short order cook in Mahwah, New Jersey for many years and was a devout Christian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II. He was a member of the Bread of Life Church in Bullville. He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Morgan and his daughter Frances Lane. Survivors include his daughter Dixie DeGroat and his two sons Richard Morgan and his wife Denise and Mark Morgan. His grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2023 from 11 A.M.-12 Noon with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Bread of Life Church 2876 Route17K Bullville, N.Y.
