Lawrence “Larry” Weeden Jr.

Middletown, New York

Lawrence “Larry” Weeden Jr. of Middletown, passed away on December 17, 2018 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown.  He was 44.

The son of the late Lawrence Weeden and Barbara Thorp Ates, he was born on November 22, 1974 in Middletown, N.Y.

Everyone called him “Officer” Weeden and he was an honorary member of the Sparrowbush Fire Dept.  He was involved in the Special Olympics and earned many medals.  He was an avid fan of the Mets and Jets.

Survivors include his mother Barbara Ates of Sparrowbush;  his sisters Melissa Norman of Milford, PA. and Jessica Bedford and her husband Richard  of Sparrowbush.  His paternal grandfather William Weeden of Tennessee.  His nephews Richard, Gavin and Riley and his nieces Courtney, Kandyce and Jada.  He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday December 21, 2018 from 3-7 P.M. with a Funeral Service on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 10 A.M. all at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.

Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery Town of Wallkill, N.Y.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
