Heriberto Quinones also known in the community as "Q" returned to God on Monday Nov. 26, 2018 at 77 years old at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, NY.

 

"Q" the son to Olga Marie Rojas Quinones and Christino Quinones Rojas, born January 2, 1941

in Humaco, Puerto Rico.

 

He began his life serving our country in the U.S. ARMY maintaining peace efforts in Europe during early 1960's in accordance to the Geneva convention code of conduct. Once retired proceeded to work as a laborer; ending his career at Wakefern Food Corporation after 25 years. "Q" enjoyed playing dominos and basketball as hobbies. In addition to following his favorite sports teams the Giants, Yankees, and Lakers. He was a loyal friend, devoted husband, loving father, and a charismatic person whom will be missed by all.

 

"Q" is survived by his dedicated caring wife Maria Lopez Quinones; his youngest sister Eneida Quinones Rojas Molina his children Edward, Marilyn, Eric, and Antonio Quinones, his grandchildren Devin and Armando Quinones, as well as a slew of nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation hours will be held from 5 to 8pm on Monday December 3, 2018 at Ralston-Lippincott -Hasbrouck- Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY.

 

Graveside Services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY.
