Obituary of Helen Monchak

Helen Monchak of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a clothing designer with Smart Time, Inc. and a longtime resident of the area, died on November 23, 2018 in Valley View Center in Goshen.  She was 94.

The daughter of the late Martin and Helen Kleber, she was born on May 1, 1924 in N.Y., N.Y.

Helen was a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology in N.Y. City.

Survivors include her daughter Dorothy Brett of New Jersey.  Her brothers Michael Kleber of the State of Florida; William Kleber of Brooklyn and her sister Catherine Bello of Highland Mills, N.Y.  Her grandchildren Veronica; Theresa and Joseph.  Her great-grandchildren Devin, Sean and Veronica and her great-great grandson Dalton.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 11A.M-Noon with a Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y.

Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Warwick, N.Y.
