Obituary of Michael E. Simpson

Michael E. Simpson of Greenwood Lake, passed away on August 23, 2018 in Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, N.Y.  He was 29.

The son of the late Edwin Simpson and Christina Scarfuto Simpson, he was born on March 29, 1989 in Goshen, New York.

Michael was a loving son and brother who loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother Christina Scarfuto Simpson.  His sister Fallon Simpson and his nephew Lucas Jackson all of Greenwood Lake, N.Y.  His fiancé Geena Lybolt and their son Mac.  His maternal grandmother Felicia Scarfuto of Long Island as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake, N.Y.

Burial will be in St. Stephens Cemetery in Warwick, N.Y.
