Sammy Davis, a renowned blues musician known as Little Sammy Davis, died on Friday February 16, 2018 in Middletown Park Manor. He was 89. Sammy was born on November 28, 1928 in Winona, Mississippi. His career with his harmonica took him to many places in the United States. He was frequently jamming with drummer Levon Helm in Woodstock. He played for millions on the "Imus in the Morning" show and was inducted into the New York State Blues Hall of Fame. Sammy is survived by his many friends and colleagues in the music industry. His creativity for the Blues will live on in his music. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday February 26, 2018 from 1 P.M.-2P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
