Herman "Amos" Lust of Middletown, a retired driver with Bally Bros. in Goshen and a retired custodian with the Middletown School District and a lifelong resident of the area, died on December 25, 2017 in Valley View Center in Goshen. He was 86. The son of the late John and Mary Lust, he was born on February 25, 1931 in Pine Island, N.Y. Survivors include his wife Josephine Foti Lust at home. His children Dr. John Lust and his wife Dr. Kathleen Donovan of Rochester, MN. His daughter Jill Sherlock and her husband Daniel Sherlock of Bloomingburg, N.Y. His grandchildren Dr. Christopher Lust and his wife Dr. Jessica Lust of St. Louis, Missouri; Michael Lust of MN.; Brittany Sherlock of Bloominburg; Amber Sherlock of Otisville and Tighe Daniel Sherlock of Bloomingburg. His great-grandchildren Hayley Archibald and Abigail Josephine Lust. His twin brother Herbert Lust of Pittsburgh, PA. and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his great-granddaughter Delilah Louise Sherlock Raap and his brothers Lawrence; Vincent and Edward. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday December 28, 2017 from 4-7 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 29, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Middletown, N.Y.
