Obituary of Anna Dorothy Wiik

Anna Dorothy "Dot" Wiik of Goshen, a retired bookkeeper for the Orange County Department of Motor Vehichles and a longtime resident of the area, died on December 5, 2017 in Orange Regional Medical Center in Goshen. She was 89. The daughter of the late Sigurd and Lilly Olsen, she was born on November 25, 1928 in New York, N.Y. She was the widow of Bengt Wiik. She was a member of the Sons of Norway. She and her husband loved traveling, especially to the Rhode Island shore. They spent a lot of time on the water. In her later years she loved "Motor Homing" around the Country, with cross country trips to California and Wisconsin where she visited her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children Carol Diane Dornan of California and Raymond B. Wiik of Wisconsin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jimmy Young, John Young, Ben Dornan, Sandra, Lori, Mary, Heather, Anna, and Raymond Wiik Jr. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters Ruth Young and Linda Wiik. Visitation hours will be held on Monday December 11, 2017 from 3-6 P.M. with a Memorial Service at 6 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Avenue Goshen, N.Y.
