Norman Slonim of Warwick, N.Y. a retired School Bus Driver and longtime resident of the area, died on November 22, 2017 in Middletown. He was 85. The son of the late Joseph and Anna Hochman Slonim, he was born on July 20, 1932 in the Bronx, New York. Norman was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was the widower of Rhoda Slonim. Survivors include his daughter Patricia Weisslander and her husband Marc of Warwick, N.Y. His grandchildren Stacey; Jason and Todd and his great-granddaughter Rebecca. Graveside services were held on Friday December 1, 2017 in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery.
