Ruth Elizabeth Swanson of Middletown, a homemaker, died on October 24, 2017 in Middletown Park Manor. She was 99.
The daughter of the late Alfred B. and Ruth Mary Forrester Weisinger, she was born on November 15, 1917 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The family would like to thank the staff of Middletown Park Manor for their care of Ruth.
Ruth was the widow of Roland Howard Swanson, whom she married on March 4, 1937.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Barber Sautter and her husband Dr. Larry Sautter of Middletown, N.Y. Her three grandchildren Aimee Hardy; Jason Sautter and his wife Dr. Linda Hanel –Sautter, and Susan Green and her husband Thomas Green of Middletown. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren Andrew, Hunter, Kyra, Kendyl, Brandon, Rhyan, Sandpiper and Sailor.
