Catherine Jackson of Middletown, a retired bus driver with the Minisink Valley School District and a lifelong resident of the area, died on October 23, 2017 in Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 84. The daughter of the late George and Ethel Zimmerman Swalm, she was born on December 25, 1932 in Middletown, N.Y. She was the widow of Walter Watson and William Jackson. Survivors include her children Diane Ford and her husband John of Greenville, N.Y.; Walter Watson and his wife Cindy of Otisville, N.Y.; Sharon Ford and her husband Joe of Westtown, N.Y. and Stephen Watson and his wife Lisa of Greenville, N.Y. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren: Deanna McGee, Dawn Oldfield, Tricia Crowe, Heather Sacco, John Ford Jr., Joseph Ford III, Kristen Ford, Joanna Watson, Burgundy Watson, Sherri Watson, Mabel Watson, Tara Watson, Fawn & Annie, along with several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Georgann Mittico. The family would like to thank the staff at Valley View and Orange Regional Medical Center for their kind and compassionate care. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday October 26, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Graveside services will be held on Friday October 27, 2017 at 10 A.M. at the Wallkill Cemetery in the Town of Wallkill, N.Y.
