Obituary of Andrew James Gusty

Andrew J. Gusty of New Windsor, a chef at Henry's at the farm in Milton, N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, died on October 9, 2017 in St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 28.

The son of Richard W. Gusty and Laura Boyan, he was born on December 7, 1988 in Middletown, N.Y.

Andrew was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.

Survivors include his grandfather George Gusty Jr. and his wife Rose of Delaware; his mother Laura Boyan of Palm Coast, Florida. His companion Kaitlyn Shumaker of New Windsor. His uncle Robert Gusty and his wife Alysa of North Carolina and his nephew Kyle and niece Emily.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
